Writing Workshops

Ever thought about what it would be like to write your own book, be an investigative reporter, or just write anything without worry? This is your chance!  Join us for this creative journey where participants ages 7-13 yrs. work through the writing process from brainstorm to publishing! Whether you are one of those who love to write or someone who may not have seen the joy in writing yet, this experience is sure to inspire the writer in everyone!

In our first year we have found so many ways to enjoy writing! We have hosted writing workshops in North Vancouver and Coquitlam for home learners. We look forward to continuing these beginning January 2012. We are excited to work with the Open Learning students of Coquitlam School District this January!

Aside from our work with home learners, we had a great time writing with many other students in our summer camps and Saturday morning workshops in North Vancouver!

What do the kids say about our writing workshops? Here are the parting comments from three of our writing groups.

“It feels like it has been a fun, but really short week! We will be back!”

“It was a lot more fun than you would think. We hope more kids get to come to this camp! We absolutely, positively, would do it again…and a few of us are planning to…this August! It was scrumdidlyumptous!”

“We had a great time. We want to come back in September!”

  1. Any developments for this camp yet? i.e. time and place? I assume it is for the advertised Spring Break 2011 period but don’t seem to be able to locate any of that information on your website.
