What A Year!

Thank you to everyone who has participated in this wonderful first year at 4 The Love Of Writing! Things have changed so much since my inspiration to host writing camps back in January! We did have a few writing camps in June and August and the kids had lots of fun. We pulled this video out of the summer archives for those of you who may not remember just how fun the summer camps were. https://4theloveofwriting.wordpress.com/?s=video  (After you click on this link, the video should appear in the post below). Some of our campers could not get enough so we began our Saturday morning writing group.

Thank you to the  home learners who inspired and attended our first workshop for home learners in North Vancouver this April! Since then, we have held two more in North Vancouver and Coquitlam! Speaking of Coquitlam, we are honoured to have been asked to teach some of the parents and students of Coquitlam School District’s Open Learning division! We had a blast strategizing with parents about the hesitant writer this past November and we look forward to our Young Journalists workshop at Coquitlam Open Learning this January!

From day camps and weekend writing to serious (but still fun) learning for home learners, this year has been a real blessing! Thank you to everyone who has inspired, participated, or simply helped to spread the word. I am so grateful for the support we have seen through our first year! With all that we have done this year, the possibilities seem endless for the year to come!

May your holidays be filled with joy followed by countless opportunities for goodness in the year to follow!

Merry Christmas!
